Practicore runs the whole office on one client record. Client masters and task boards, every statutory tracker, a full set of books per client, audit engagements, board meetings and registers, billing, collection and partner accounts. Seven modules, one login, one audit trail.

Every firm keeps two books. Only one of them gets balanced.

The work you delivered and the fees you raised are the same facts recorded twice — a firm of eleven, quarter ended 30 June 2026. Illustrative.

Folio 2 — What you get

Seven modules, and what is actually in them.

Every screen below is in the product today. They share one client master, one permission model and one audit trail, so a filing, the working paper behind it, the invoice it earned and the WhatsApp message that chased the documents are all the same record.

Folio 3 — Statutory coverage

The trackers your clients ask you about.

Due dates are generated per client, per period, from the registrations you record once — not typed into a spreadsheet each month. Each row carries its own status, owner, documents and fee. Practicore tracks and prepares the work; the return itself is lodged by your team on the department portal.

Schedule A — Compliance coverageFY 2026–27

Income tax

ITR for every assessee type, advance tax, capital gains, tax credits from 26AS and AIS, post-filing processing, transfer pricing and Form 3CEB, Form 15CA / CB, Form 10B / BB, equalisation levy.

GST

GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and QRMP, GSTR-9 and 9C, portal data import, GSTR-2B reconciliation with ITC reversal, and a per-client filing status the whole firm reads the same way.

TDS and TCS

Quarterly 24Q, 26Q and 27Q returns, challan tracking, Form 16 and 16A status, section reference and a rate calculator.

Company law

AOC-4, MGT-7, ADT-1, DIR-3 KYC, DPT-3, charges, IEPF, secretarial audit, LLP Form 8 and 11, and strike-off.

Registrations

Trademark, patent, copyright, design and international trademark, ISO, FSSAI, IEC and DGFT, MSME and Udyam, Startup India recognition.

Labour and HR

Provident fund, ESI, professional tax and shop and establishment, tracked per client and per state.

SEBI and FEMA

LODR obligations, insider trading under PIT, takeover under SAST, and RBI and FEMA filings.

Notices and litigation

A notice register with the authority and section on it, a hearing calendar, and the AI notice analyser.

Recurring work

Enrol a client once and the year’s obligations, tasks, folders and fees are created on schedule.

Folio 4 — Depth

Four things generic practice tools do not have.

4.1   Audit and assurance

A complete engagement file

Planning, risk areas, materiality, procedure programmes, SA 530 sampling with error projection, working papers, review queries, the three-stage sign-off chain, statutory report and management letter. At the SA 230 sixty-day cut-off the file locks, and only partner-approved annotations can be appended after that.

  • Working papers
  • Review queries
  • Sampling
  • Assembly lock
  • Peer review pack
  • Form 3CD
4.2   Company secretary

Board work through to registers

Board and committee meetings with agenda packs and video, minutes and resolutions from templates, statutory registers, share certificates and DSC expiry tracking. Directors sign in to their own portal to read papers and record approvals, and MCA public documents can be ordered and filed against the company.

  • Board meetings
  • Minutes
  • Resolutions
  • Registers
  • Director portal
  • MCA documents
4.3   Accounting

Real books, one client at a time

Open a client’s book and the module scopes to it. Vouchers and journals, a bank inbox that parses statements from the major Indian banks, matching rules, reconciliation, fixed assets on both Companies Act and Income Tax blocks, month-end close per book, and Schedule III or ICAI non-corporate statements out the other end. Tally moves in and out.

  • Vouchers
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Trial balance
  • Fixed assets
  • Month-end close
  • Tally
4.4   Access

Three separate doors

Your team works in the internal workspace. Clients sign in to the client portal by one-time code to upload documents, approve, and record their own expenses and sales into a review queue. Directors get a third portal for board papers. Each is its own authenticated surface with its own scope.

  • Client portal
  • Director portal
  • OTP sign-in
  • Offline capture
  • Per-role rights
Folio 5 — The fee, end to end

From the letter you signed to the partner’s share.

This is the side of the spread most firms cannot see. Practicore carries a fee from the engagement letter through to the capital account it lands in.

Posting 1

Agree it

Scope and fee are written down once, before the work starts.

  • Proposals
  • Engagement letters
  • Fee templates
  • Client rate cards
Posting 2

Record it

Time and work-in-progress accrue against the client and the task, not a memory.

  • Timesheets
  • Team approvals
  • WIP tracker
  • Utilisation
Posting 3

Collect it

Invoices draw on the work that was done. Unbilled months surface before quarter end.

  • Invoices and credit notes
  • Client ledgers
  • Receivables trial balance
  • UPI and Razorpay
Posting 4

Split it

Firm profit is allocated to partners with the workings kept, not reconstructed.

  • Profit allocation
  • Capital statements
  • Drawings register
  • Partner loans and tax
Folio 6 — Vidhi AI

Posted as a draft. Signed by a person.

Vidhi reads only what the person asking is already permitted to see, and hands the partner something to correct rather than something to start.

  • Notice analyser
Upload a notice; get the authority, section, amount, due date and response owner extracted, with the matter opened and a hearing date on the calendar.
  • Drafting
Replies, engagement letters, board minutes and reports, produced against the client’s real data and staged for review, never sent.
  • Document parsing
Bank statements and vendor bills read into entries you check line by line before anything posts.
  • Vidhi chat
Questions answered from the client, task and filing records the asker already has rights to — not from the open internet.
  • Trail
Usage limits, review steps and an activity history that stands up in a peer review.
  • Folio 7 — Custody

You are holding other people’s books.

  • Isolation
Every query is scoped to your workspace at the database layer, not by remembering to add a filter.
  • Encryption
Field-level encryption for portal credentials and sensitive identifiers.
  • Two-factor
Optional enforcement across the firm, with trusted devices and a per-account security rating.
  • Audit log
Who changed what, when and from where — retained, searchable, and not editable from the app.
  • Residency
    Designed for Indian data residency.
  • Folio 8 — What it costs

    One rate. Every module.

Rs 999per active user, per month
    Rs 849 on annual billing
    14-day trial, no card

No feature tiers and no module locks. Every user gets all seven modules — including audit, company secretary and practice economics, which competing products sell separately or not at all. You pay for active team members only, and the marginal rate falls as the team grows.

    Folio 9 — Queries

    Before you open an account.

What is in the 14-day trial?

All seven modules and every capability, with no feature limits and no card. The data you enter during the trial stays with you when you subscribe.

Can I move my existing data in?

Client masters, tasks, invoices, payments and tracker history import from Excel or CSV. Trial balances, journal entries and vouchers move through the Tally workflows, opening balances load per client book, and bank statements from the major Indian banks parse into reviewable transactions.

Do you file returns for me?

No. Practicore is not a filing utility and lodges nothing with the department. It raises the obligation per client and period, holds the computations, working papers and documents behind it, and records the status, challan and acknowledgement once your team has filed on the portal — so the whole firm reads the same answer. The filing itself stays with you.

How does the client portal work?

Each client contact gets their own sign-in by one-time code to their email. They can upload documents against a request, approve what you send, and — if you switch it on for that client — record expenses and sales that land in your review queue as drafts. Nothing they enter posts to the books until your team accepts it.

Who on my team can see what?

Permissions are set per role and per module, down to individual capabilities. Articles, managers and partners see different things, and the client and director portals are separate authenticated surfaces entirely.

    Is my clients’ data safe?

Workspace isolation enforced at the database layer, field-level encryption for credentials, optional two-factor across the firm, trusted devices and a retained audit log. Designed for Indian data residency.

    Folio 10 — Close

Open one client. Post one month. See whether it ties.

Fourteen days of the full product, with nothing to configure before you can tell whether it fits the way your firm already works.
